5 tips to stay fit for the holidays

Content originally published and Shared from http://perfectbath.com

Sauna use for a healthy lifestyle

With the Holiday season just around the corner, it can be difficult to stay fit for the holidays when you want to bake with the grand kids or attend your friend’s annual Friends giving dinner.

The good news is that media’s claim that people tend to gain 5 pounds around the holidays isn’t true. The average weight gain is actually 1 pound, according to the US National Library of Medicine.

Your Health Mate family understands the importance of enjoying the holidays and maintaining a healthy mind and body. Whether it’s 1 pound or 5, we know the importance of maintaining your health and fitness routine, all year round.

Our top 5 natural tips to stay fit for the holidays!

1. Embrace the staycation

If you find yourself indoors to keep out the cold or you can’t bring yourself to drive to the gym, there are still ways you can keep moving! YouTube offers numerous fitness videos for free, such as Yoga With Adrienne. There are even apps that give you structured workouts like Nike Training Club and you can track your performance on the go or in the comfort of your own home.

2. Hydrate!

You’ll hear it over and over but hydration is essential to optimum health. According to the Institute of Medicine, about 75% of the American population suffer from chronic dehydration. So remember to get your daily dose of water and stay rejuvenated!

3. Fun holiday activities

Sign up for a fun holiday activity like the local turkey trot to stay motivated throughout the holiday season. Invite some family along and inspire each other on your wellness journeys!

4. Make holiday errands a workout

Have a long list of shopping or errands to get through this season? Go to your local outlet or shopping mall and slip on your comfy workout shoes. There’s nothing better than keeping your body fit and finishing your to do list at the same time.

5. Infrared sauna heat therapy

Paired with a healthy diet and exercise routine, infrared heat will increase detoxification and burn anywhere from 400-600 calories in just one 30 minute session. With a warm and relaxing infrared sauna session, you’ll gain a positive mood and help burn some extra weight lingering from holiday treats. View our infrared heat saunas to see which Sauna is meant for you!

We hope these natural tips will guide you on your health and fitness journey this holiday season and savor the special moments (and treats) that the holidays have to offer.

Here at Perfectbath we aspire to come along side you and help you reach your fitness and wellness goals with rejuvenating infrared sauna heat therapy.

How to Keep Your Whirlpool Tub Clean

Content originally published and Shared from http://perfectbath.com

A whirlpool bathtub is a great addition to your home. It provides numerous benefits and it can be something to look forward to at the end of a long, tiring day. To maximize the experience, keep your tub at its best by following these useful cleaning tips:

Whirlpool Bathtub for One Person – AM161

  • Following the manufacturer’s recommendations in avoiding oil-based soaps, bubble bath soaps, and bath and mineral salts is an important part of preventative maintenance. Avoiding these products will eliminate potential pump issues and ensure that an excessive amount of residue is not sticking to the interior walls of the piping. Depending on its use, a whirlpool tub’s circulation system should be flushed of residue accumulation on a monthly or bi-monthly basis or, if possible, after each use. Source: Buildipedia
  • Before cleaning your jets for the first time, check the manufacturer’s manual. Some manufacturers recommend closing the air controls, while others recommend leaving them open during cleaning, and certain manufacturers recommend specific cleansers for their tubs. Source: ApartmentTherapy
  • Once a month — or more often for tubs that get a lot of use — you should also remove any accumulation of bath residue (from body oils, dirt, soaps, shampoos, lotions) from the whirlpool system. First, fill the bath with hot water (up to 140° F) and add 4 tablespoons to 1/4 cup of a low-foaming disinfectant (such as powdered dishwasher detergent). Some manufacturers suggest adding 1/2 cup of household bleach. Turn off the air induction and run the water jets for 10 to 15 minutes. Then drain the bath and refill with cold water only. Run the whirlpool for 10 to 15 minutes, then drain again. There are also commercial cleaning products made specifically to do this job. Source: GoodHousekeeping
  • Residue accumulation or scale deposits may persist on the interior walls of the piping, even after cleaning. You should consider having the whirlpool tub cleaned professionally on a yearly basis. A professional cleaner should flush, descale, and disinfect a whirlpool circulation system. Source: Knoji

Amazing Basement Remodeling Ideas

Content originally published and Shared from http://perfectbath.com

traditional-basement

The basement is often the largest but most underused space in the home. Piling it up with storage boxes and old electronics means missing out on a great opportunity to expand your home’s living space. Basement remodeling will not only add more space to your home, it could also boost your selling price.

The basement comes with the advantage of being a large, unobstructed space. This allows you to put it to many uses. You can create a single room or split it up into two or more rooms. Instead of letting it stay dark, musty and unused, consider undertaking a basement remodeling.

No Shortage of Ideas

When you think about basement remodeling, the first question on your mind is probably what you will turn it into. There is no shortage of ideas. Some homeowners opt to create an extra bedroom or two while others go as far as creating a personal museum down there. This is obviously a big decision and you need to go slow on it. The most important thing is to consider what your greatest need is. If you have a shortage of bedrooms, turn the basement into an extra bedroom. If you work at home and need a home office away from the noisy little ones, a home office it is. If the kids’ toys are cluttering up the living room and causing endless injuries, consider creating a playroom for them.

If there is no pressing need, then you can add a room for entertainment purposes. Some good ideas include a home cinema, a game room, a bar, a kitchenette or even an extra family room or deluxe bathroom for your home spa. If you love photography, you could turn it into your own personal gallery. If you have a priceless collection of sports memorabilia, consider creating a mini museum to enjoy with friends.

You can even create more than one room. Use a creative divider, such as a sliding barn door, to separate the two rooms. You could turn it into two bedrooms, a game room and bar, a kid’s play area and adult game room and so on. Discuss with your contractor what each idea involves. Consider the complexity and cost of each and choose the one you are most comfortable with.

A Word on Safety

Before going ahead with your project, check what the local code says on basement safety especially if you plan to turn it into a living space such as a bedroom. A basement fire is a major hazard and could cause major damage to your home and even worse, injuries or death. Talk with your contractor about installing basic safety measures such as an egress window, smoke detectors and fire sprinklers. Additionally, check that the basement has been well protected against moisture entry and damage.

Inspiring Ideas

To help you get started on basement remodeling, we have put together an in depth article: 8 Awesome Basement Remodeling Ideas, which includes a beverage center, a wine cellar and a private gym.

CHARLOTTE

With Text

Do you ever wonder “did I change? or is the whole world around me all of a sudden different?”. I am the first one to always claim that our state of mind is key in any situation and that one can live many lives all in one just by shifting the very point of perspective. But understanding that doesn’t always necessarily allow you to experience these different perspectives just so easily. If it was that easy to put our minds to something, we’d all be terribly successful and on top of all our wildest dreams. And yet somehow, we tend to struggle to find the right approach to things. Because being told that the laws of attraction evolve around the idea that you attract the energy you put out there is a great step forward, but it’s not paving the entire path. The path has of course challenging obstacles that lie inevitably within the way, and these are mainly cause by our very own mind.

If it is well known that we are always best served by our own selves, or that it’s better to be alone than poorly accompanied, well then let me tell you something :  we are also our own biggest enemy. Because our minds are endlessly processing information, coping with everyday situations, forcing our heads to analyze and question each details, thus tricking us into putting question marks under each uncertainty. Luckily, we do have our minds to save us from delusional behaviors. But how come we are the ones to stop our own selfs from achieving greatness? Let’s not play victims for a second. The world, society, work, these are all contextual circumstances. Fact is, we really have a choice in almost everything in life. Which makes it pretty simple : we truly make what we want out of it. So what keeps us all away from leading the life of our dreams? Don’t we have all the keys, aren’t we aware of all the theories? Haven’t we read all the books and listened to all the motivational speeches?

Understanding is one. Acting is the other and it is the hardest. While it is comforting to dream about our own future successful self while preparing our strategy comfortably seated on the couch, the whole world is moving and buzzing with innovations and progress being achieved each minute. We are so many on this planet, what if somewhere, there’s someone experiencing the same thing as you and actually gets up from that couch and decides to actually go and act on it without waiting any longer? There’s simply a point when one needs to go for it. And it might be hard to understand where to begin with or what even to do, but any small action, any little thing will get you closer to where you want to be eventually. Wether it’s the tinniest action or something more important, each one of them will cumulate and eventually result in new opportunities.

Taking action is so hard because our minds are so full of contradictions, fears, doubts. Luckily, most of us have the ability to questions ourselves. Ability that usually helps us to avoid awkward situations or making stupid mistakes. Sadly this ability often tends to overlap with our confidence and trust in our own actual talent. Because what is talent? Who decides that we’re talented, smart, beautiful? We all look for a validation somewhere out there, whether it’s through our friends, love or work, the idea of receiving society’s or the the industry’s stamp is extremely comforting and reassuring. But truly, the only one who’ll determine how good you are is yourself. Not just by believing it with all your heart, but also by working on it. Because we truly can make what we want out of ourselves and this is the magic of life. The options are infinite and there’s always hope. Always.

Don’t close any doors, don’t pull yourself down, stop blaming the world for things you wish but can’t have. Everything you want is already in your hands if you believe it and do what it takes to get it. This is just a little healthy reminder for all of you loves out there to never give up and never stop trusting yourself. We all have a gift inside and it would be such a waste if we didn’t use it. We’re all so unique with so much to offer, each of us differently. So enlighten the world with your power, and trust me we all have one. As I already mentioned previously, I write rarely now, only when I really feel like it. Believe me, no matter what you do or where you are in your life, doubts and fears will always come through. But keep in mind that you rule your own mind and you can shut off anything negative in just a second as much as you can pull yourself up anytime and kick your own butt. Isn’t it so reassuring to know that? To know that no matter what, you’ll always be there for yourself. That you’ll never let yourself down? Have this faith in you and ne-ver lose it. It is the most precious force that’ll take you so far and bring so much good on your path. It’s a contagious force that will surely help others that encounter you on the way. So keep sharing the goodness.

I know it sounds more simple that it is. But it truly isn’t complicated. It is simply a state of mind and the idea of refusing any negative thoughts. Not being sorry for being who you are. Following your heart and working to succeed. It’ s spreading something positive and being ambitious without being selfish either. It’s doing good, not just to do good to your own self, but also to the world by sharing with people the best of yourself. Which is a gift that we’d all like to receive, positive vibes are the most attractive, appealing and uplifting ever. So take a second to re-evalutate your thought process and diminish your negativity by half and then get rid of it completely. It doesn’t mean being dumb, naive or delusional. It simply means aiming for the best. Because why settle for less? We only have one life. Don’t waste it on abstract obstacles.

I am currently writing this article from Tokyo, by the way guys, huge Tokyo guide coming through in a few days! This trip has been truly incredible. So inspiring with so many unbelievable experiences. Can’t wait to share it all with you and some of the best tips to discover this incredibly city. It’s 4 am here and I can’t sleep, my brain is rushing with thoughts and ideas and I wanted to talk to you all so bad because I miss y’aaall. Also… I was so excited to share with you this new set of images that Cibelle and I shot while we were in Paris at Les Bains. Les Bains is one of my favorite boutique hotels ever, it has that David Lynch movie vibe that I am absolutely in love with. By the way, for the ones who are really bright, you might have already noticed that it is the room where we filmed the Mugler video. I love going back to my favorite places. This time I’m back in this series of images inspired by classic movie film stills. The idea was to channel a retro aesthetic, inspired by the old school cinema era. Cibelle’s skill are just growing so fast, it’s always such an incredible pleasure to work with her and see her work expanding so much. I hope you guys will enjoy this set, can’t wait to hear back on it. x

Choosing the Right Bathroom Sink

Content originally published and Shared from http://perfectbath.com

Top mount or undermount sinks? Wall-mount or pedestal sinks?  There is a lot of choice out there and we’ll try to break it down for you.

Before you head out the door to get that new sink  you need to consider which bathroom (master en suite, family bathroom, powder room), who is going to use the bathroom more often and the size of the space you. You might not have the space in your powder room for a double sink but you might in your master bedroom bathroom.vessel sink

Top-mount sink – is the most common sink and sits in the bathroom cabinet with the rim visible. It works best in a minimalist design scheme. It can be used with any countertop material and is also less costly to install in a stone countertop, because you avoid having to polish the cutout edges, as is the case with an undermount sink.  Unfortunately you can’t wipe any spills into the sink because of the rim.

Undermount sink –  is installed underneath the counter with the rim flush with the countertop instead of sitting on top of it. Its clean look makes it a great fit for a high traffic family bathroom. You can clean up water spills easily but it is a more costly alternative requiring it to be installed to a stone or solid surface countertop material.

The advantage of a wall-mounted sink is that it doesn’t have any cabinets below it. Not only do you save on space but it makes the room look larger than it is. All of the plumbing must be located in the wall, there isn’t any storage space and excess water usually spills onto the floor. Ideal for the powder room; where storage isn’t a priority.

Suitable for a classic or a period oriented design, a pedestal sink hides the plumbing but the lack of any storage space under the sink or any counter space around it might not be suitable for a family bathroom.

A semi-recessed sink is the perfect alternative because it’s installed on the cabinet; providing you Semi mount square sink

If you want a statement piece a vessel sink that sits completely on top of the countertop might be the sink for you. It holds more water than most sinks but because it is higher than most other types of sinks it can be uncomfortable to use and difficult to clean.

5 Questions To Ask Before You Hire A Designer

Content originally published and Shared from http://perfectbath.com

hiring-a-bathroom-designer

So, you’re ready to embark on that long awaited bathroom renovation. You’ve flipped through all the magazines full of glossy images of steam showers, whirlpool tubs, spa tables, and all manner of luxury items for your very own retreat. Now what?

Before you actually sign a contract with a designer, there are some considerations you need to think about it. Take a step back and figure out exactly what your budget is and whether or not you’re going to allow yourself to change your plans halfway through the project. I know that last bit sounds a bit silly. But, the number of choices you’ll be required to make and the variety of products and ideas you’ll come across might tempt you to change your original vision over and over again!

Once you’ve figured out exactly what you want from your bathroom, interview every available designer until you find one that answers the following questions to your satisfaction.

What is your renovation schedule? You will want a designer (and subsequently, a contractor) who will decide right from the start on a solid timeline. The schedule should tell you when the work will start, when you’re expected to pay for that work, and when it will be completed. You’ll also want to know if the workers will be in your home every day until the project is complete or just on particular days.

Who will be in my home? Bathroom renovations involve a lot of different tradespeople. Make sure you know ahead of time who is expected to show up when. If you can’t be home during the renovation, find out if the contractor or designer offers a supervisory service. Failing that, try asking a family member or neighbor to come over and supervise who is in your home and where they go.

How will my home be protected? With so many tradespeople coming and going, it would be easy for a stranger to enter without anyone knowing. As above, find someone to supervise the work if you can’t be there yourself. Also, remove all breakables and anything valuable from adjacent rooms. Renovations can be a little destructive, and you don’t want something important to vibrate off a table and break. If renovators need to remove a window or outside wall, find out how they plan to protect your home from the weather and any animals that might try to enter.

What is your preferred method of communication? Designers and renovators are busy people. So are you, for that matter. Because anything can happen during a renovation, knowing how to contact the designer or contractor is key. That person should provide you with a cell phone number or the best way of reaching him or her quickly.

Do you anticipate any problems? Before you start your renovation, your head is probably full of all the wonderful ideas you’ve been collecting that will turn your barely functioning bathroom into a spa-like experience. Be aware, though, that few renovations are problem free. Your designer or contractor should be sufficiently familiar with the style and age of your home to know what kind of issues you might run into. Anticipating problems will ensure that you have enough money saved in your budget to deal with any surprises.

Contrast is good, but not when you’re shooting for the illusion of extra space. According to many interior designers, contrasting colors can break up a room making it look smaller. Try to do the following to boost your visual square inches:

  • Paint your ceiling the same or a similar color as your walls.
  • Blend your shower wall colors to your wall.
  • If color transitions are needed, make it as smooth and clean as possible. Source: PostCrescent

Let Light Inside
The darker a small bathroom is the more cramped and uninviting it will feel. Small bathrooms look best with large and uncovered windows (if privacy is an issue, you can use ‘frosting sprays’); but the lack of such can easily be compensated with freestanding fixtures to drive shadows back. Bulbs, however, should produce soft light, unlike strong yellow-orange beams suitable for other types of rooms. Source: ImpressiveInteriorDesign

Use Mirrors Strategically
We all know that mirrors are only as good as what they reflect. One great idea is to place mirrors across from a window within the room. Doing so will make it visually seem like you have two windows in the same space! Source: CarlaAston

Be Clear (When It Comes to Glass)
Many people choose an opaque shower door to add a sense of privacy, but doing so can also chop your space in half, divvying the bathroom up into a shower space and a sink area. A clear glass door opens up the bathroom, making it feel like one big room explains Plaskoff. (In most cases, you’re alone in the bathroom, anyway, so the opacity isn’t all that necessary.) Cut Out the Small Accessories
There’s nothing like clutter to make a small space feel even smaller.
Pare down on towels and use just one large floor rug. Select one piece of art instead of lots of small pieces. Use one decorative accessory instead of lots of small ones. Store whatever else you really need out of sight. Source: AboutHome

Top 10 Steam Bath Benefits You May Not Have Considered

Did you know that home steam showers offer dozens of benefits that range from improving health and wellness to achieving glowing skin to supporting a natural health routine? Imagine feeling more relaxed thanks to better breathing, improved blood circulation, rejuvenated skin and more… Let’s explore ten of these steam-related benefits that you may not have considered as part of living a healthier lifestyle.

Ten Wonderful Steam Bath Benefits

1. Steam therapy for congestion to clear sinuses

Experiments have shown that steam therapy can effectively soothe cold symptoms, including a runny nose caused by overactive sinuses.

2. Steam can help eliminate excess sodium

By causing you to sweat, steam helps flush your body of excess sodium and other toxins.

3. Simplify shaving with steam

Steam is a perfect addition to your morning wellness routine and benefits you by softening your skin, making it easier for a razor to glide across your face or legs for a closer, painless shave.

4. Try steam to relieve acne conditions

Steam can potentially reduce acne by opening up your pores, thereby showing the door to pimple-causing dirt and oil. It can also improve blood circulation, which brings more oxygen and nutrients toward the skin’s surface.

5. A steam session may deepen sleep

Can’t sleep? Steam therapy can help you get a full night’s rest and even increase the length of REM (deep sleep) cycles.

Steam Bath Benefits include better sleep, deeper relaxation and a boosted metabolism.

6. A steam session removes lactic acid from muscles

A steam room benefits your workout routine by helping to remove some of the lactic acid that accumulates in your muscles, causing them to feel sore.

7. And may relieve the pain and discomfort of arthritis

On the same note as #6, the soothing effects of steam can relieve those achy joints and make your arthritis less noticeable.

We’ve even heard how steam can help relieve chronic symptoms.

8. Personal trainers advise that steam can boost your body’s metabolism

Personal trainer Nick Casteel advises that, aside from soothing muscles and joints, steam can actually increase your body’s metabolism and allow you to lose weight more quickly.

9. A 15-minute steam bathing session will burn 150 calories

Don’t quit your exercise routine, but a steam bath can be a great supplement for burning calories for health and fitness. On average, you will burn 150 calories in a 15-minute steam bathing session at 114° F.

10. Steam conserves water

A 20-minute steam bath uses less than one gallon of water, compared to 75 gallons for a typical whirlpool bath and even more for a basic multi-headed shower system. This means that it literally costs cents to operate.

Brow Lift Face Off – Surgical vs Chemical Brow Lifts

If you’re past your 30s, you may have noticed a slight heaviness to your brows or maybe, as you’ve grown older, you’ve noticed a small drop in your brows. Many patients come into the plastic surgery consultation office and say something along the lines of “I don’t like the 11s in my brow” or “I […]

L’OREAL x KRISTINA BAZAN

_DSC2080

It almost feels like years have gone by since my last article. I miss writing and sharing here so much! Thank god I get to talk a bit with you everyday through social media, otherwise you’d all think I’ve completely disappeared. Well, if you do follow and read my entries then you might know that I’ve been super concentrated on many things lately, developing side projects and doings lots of news things that I am deeply passionate about. It is so nice and refreshing to take some distance from everything and to dive into creativity in other ways. I realize that creativity does never come in one format, it comes in so many and it’s so important in one’s life to truly seek the full potential out of it and use it to create new things constantly by challenging ourselves to see things differently.

In one of my latest posts, I’ve admitted to have recently been in an ongoing reflective state, questioning a lot in my life, my career, myself and putting my priorities in other places than the ones I previously used to. Simplicity, love and honesty have come to the core of my interests and I am really on a road of self exploration as I realize how young I am, how much I’ve lived and how much I still have to learn and experience. I get saddened by the idea that some people might think that all I ought to do with my life is confined within a small bubble of virtual reality when I’ve expressed such a will for Creativity with a big C throughout my whole life. My dreams definitely run big and for them to eventually become a reality isn’t a matter of likes on Instagram or how many shows I’ll get to attend in one season, it’s honestly all very much a matter of vision.

It’s been a very interesting period for me. Almost diving back into my truest, purest form. Trying to stop lying to myself, trying to be as bluntly honest with everyone as much as I am with my own self too. And it isn’t easy, but it is also so highly awakening. Happiness is such an interesting concept. As we all consider happiness to be a state, I think happiness lies within moments and that it cannot be perpetual as our human nature challenges any constant and confronts any comfort. Without pain ain’t no happiness  and without happiness ain’t no pain either if that makes sense. I’ve been deliberately putting myself in a position of playing the devil’s advocate against my own self, questioning the nature of each of my intentions and actions. The thing is, I know for a fact that I’ve always had an old creative soul and always been so sensitive, to everything… Whether it’s people, places, flavors, scents, color, sounds. Anything can inspire me and engage me on a whirl of ideas.

So why block it off? If anything I ought to myself and to you all as my dear readers, is pure honesty. And if I don’t feel like writing an article, I certainly won’t. What is the purpose of this blog but to put out real, raw, honesty out there and share with you a bit of my soul? The pressures of the game of course sometimes force me to think that I should feel bad about my lack of consistence but I guess that when you have sudden fresh artistic waves within you, it’s hard to restrict yourself to format, routine and definitely not consistency. You all know how much I love anti-conformism by nature.

When I say developing side projects, I definitely mean music but not only. It goes through all sorts of projects, through research by reading books, watching movies, getting inspired online or even in real life. I’ve been on a quest for raw material to fill my heart with and it has been the most enlightening journey ever which I gladly notice is influencing all other aspects of my life. I’ve become more analytical of things, more observant and appreciative to take in good and bad as long as it can inspire and draw in new questions. I suppose I’ve also been more quiet as I am currently more curious to observe then to do, to think than to rush. It feels to me like there are moments in life where you have to just go for it, and I’ve definitely went for it so many times. But in order to move on further with certain endeavors, a step back to fully get a grasp of the whole image and move on with confidence is a certain necessity.

Needless to say, I’ve also been working on some great projects linked to fashion as you guys might have noticed! We just wrapped up Paris fashion week which was quite intense, that’s the least to say. No matter how much we do, I always need 3 days to just sleep afterwards as my feet can’t even stand after all the partying, lips can’t smile from all the smiling and greetings, stomach can’t handle a single more glass of champagne and heart just wants to escape into a good book and bubble bath. But we definitely kicked off some amazing projects and I am so proud of the latest accomplishments and especially, one of the biggest ones which has been to launch my new make up collection for L’Oréal! It has been a dream of mine since I’m a little baby girl to launch my own line of products and I am pinching myself witnessing it now becoming a reality. I had the pleasure to work on it for about a year, since I got signed with the whole L’Oréal make-up team to come up with the kits and conceptualize the whole idea. The collection involves :

1. The Eye Shadow Palette “Smoking Nudes”

It is the perfect everyday eye make-up palette which transitions perfectly from day to night and adapts to any skin tone. The colors are inspired by my favorite everyday shade that can fit to any outfit. When I travel, I don’t like carrying too many colors with me and this palette does fully the job as it’s an all in one with colors imitating the natural skin shading. It has several highlight shades which can be used even as a regular highlighter on cheekbones, nose, cupid’s bow and brow arch, and deep dark shades that can even serve as brow filler. This palette is definitely my must have.

2. The Lip Kit

Contains a lip stick and a matching lip pencil in a beautiful rosy nude shade which creates the sexiest plump ever. It is my everyday color which I love wearing from day to night. I also love wearing simply the lip pencil with some lip balm if I feel like going for a more transparent pout.

3. The Eye Kit

Is all about creating that femme fatale killer cat eye. And you know how much I love a good cat eye… I wanted to offer you guys the best eye liner possible to draw the perfect eye line. And the mascara million the cils will help you punctuate your eye look all in elegance. Here’s an extra tip, because the eyeliner is so easy to use, try creating a black lip for a bold fashion move by using the eye liner as a lipstick, or why not if you’re going to a music concert or party using the eye liner to draw a few little symbols under the eyes such as little starts or small lines to add some detail to your look.

4. The Nail Kit

Finally the whole collection ends with three shades of nail polish that are in my opinion three classics any women should have. The perfect nude which has a beautiful peach shade to it and is truly perfect with an all nude look, the perfect Parisian gray for the big city girls and finally the white which I personally love on the toes with black open toe heels.

Et voilà! The whole collection is my baby, I am so proud of it and hope you guys will love it as much as I do. It’s truly an incredible accomplishment for me and I am so honored and happy to be able to share it with you all. Needless to say, the products are truly in-cre-dible and I highly, highly recommend them to you guys. It’s so easy to use, so versatile. The goal isn’t to copy my make-up but to create your own by using the different shades and accessories of the collection to make it unique. You can purchase the collection on ASOS, Boots, Amazon and of course in the new L’Oréal shop on 62 Rue Caumartin! Send me your pictures by using the hashtag #KristinaxLOreal, I want to see your interpretation of the collection and will be reposting my favorite ones. xxx
